BASIC RUNDOWN

WHAT IS IT: Rhys' cybernetic implant has the ability to scan his surroundings (people, places, things, you get the idea) and then crosschecks that data with the local internet database for any relevant info, bringing it all up on a nice little HUD display that only Rhys can see.

Rhys only has access to the information you want him to. As little or as much, as damning or stupid, only what's stored here on this page counts! Which is why I've got a table below that lets you archive, update and/or screw around with Rhys' general perception of your character. Awww yeah, tables.

HOW IT WORKS

Rhys runs a scan of your character: the scan first analyzes your character and then cross-references it with the local network, and in a matter of seconds whatever it pulls up is displayed in a HUD that's only visible to him via the eye itself. It's a quick, painless process.

It's important to note Borderlands is a ridiculous canon - most of the ECHOnet files from back home are filled with inside jokes and jabs at the characters themselves, so if you'd like to have a basic reference or what it is Rhys sees when he scans your pup, here's a bunch:
