BASIC RUNDOWN

Thanks to the Maeve, Rhys' ECHOeye implant (that gold, mismatched eye on the left there) has finally been upgraded with local network capabilities. If he was back home this would mean he'd have complete, unrestricted access to just about every dirty little secret your character keeps close to their heart-- or maybe right on their sleeve-- via one quick, focused stare, but luckily for everyone here Eros' network just isn't as great at compiling data.

Or storing it, or keeping it in top shape, or...

Long story short, Rhys only has access to the information you want him to. As little or as much, as damning or stupid, only what's stored here on this page counts! Which is why I've got a table below that lets you archive, update and/or screw around with Rhys' general perception of your character. Awww yeah, tables.

HOW IT WORKS

Rhys runs a scan of your character: the scan first analyzes your character and then cross-references it with the local network, and in a matter of seconds whatever it pulls up is displayed in a HUD that's only visible to him via the eye itself. It's a quick, painless process.

CANON EXAMPLES/ REFERENCES

It's important to note Borderlands is a ridiculous canon - most of the ECHOnet files from back home are filled with inside jokes and jabs at the characters themselves, so if you'd like to have a basic reference or what it is Rhys sees when he scans your pup, here's a bunch:
